When you’re looking for a weekend getaway with your best four-legged friend, Mount Lemmon is an amazing option! Not only do all of the beautiful natural trails allow dogs, but they’re also very welcome within the community of Summerhaven. We’re happy to say that we offer pet-friendly lodging for you and your family to enjoy! Don’t leave your cat or dog at home– bring them with you on an adventure they’ll love!

Let us help you plan the pet-friendly vacation on Mt. Lemmon that you’ve been dreaming about! We’d like to start with your home base, the Mt. Lemmon Hotel. We aim to make our cabins comfortable for you as well as your cats or dogs! Here’s what makes our pet-friendly hotel special:

– We designed cabins 1, 2, 3, 13, 14, and 15 to be pet-friendly, including a small fenced yard that your furry friend can enjoy.

– We provide food and water bowls for your pet’s use for the duration of your stay!

– Three pets are allowed per cabin, including any house-trained dogs (any breed) and cats (just bring their litter box).

– To ensure safety and comfort, we ask that all dogs are kept on leashes when outside of their cabin.

– Our property is also home to Mt. Lemmon Coffee and Tea Co., which has a dog-friendly walk-up window serving pup cups and dog treats.

You can also do the same for your furry friends by packing along some items like their: bed, blanket, toys, treats, and accessories. Our cabins offer plenty of space for your pet to get comfortable, including cozy spots to lay down and warm up by the fire!

You can also help to keep your dog comfortable during your visit to Mt. Lemmon by bringing along: treats, a water bowl, dog-friendly insect repellent, booties, a basic first aid kit, and maybe even a dog backpack to carry it all in. Don’t forget that our hotel – and all Mt. Lemmon trails – require dogs to stay on-leash, so you’ll definitely need to bring that along. Plus, you’ll probably always want to bring some poo bags with you!

We’re also happy to help you find dog-friendly trails, activities, and places to eat during your stay with us! Mt. Lemmon is full of opportunities to enjoy adventures with your pets. We look forward to welcoming you, your family, and your furry friends for a comfortable stay in our cabins!
