DISCOUNTS

Discounts are available for any active duty military/veterans or Registered Nurses (RNs).  Proof of status must be sent to either [email protected] or 520-277-2478 and a personalized discount code will be created to complete your booking.  To qualify for the discount – the individual with proof of ID must also be the person making the reservation and purchase.  The discount can only be used on one cabin at a time for the same dates. If you have booked on VRBO or AIRBNB we do not have a way to apply the discount and encourage bookings to be done through our website at www.mtlemmonhotel.com for the lowest price and quickest service.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed in the cabins or on the decks. Many of the guests like to keep their doors or windows open and the fresh mountain breezes risk disrupting someone else’s stay.

Hotel Info Regarding Cancellation/Refund Policy

If a guest cancels and provides 15 days or more notice before their reservation is set to begin (i.e. not including check in day) – they are eligible to get a full refund of the nightly rate, the cleaning fee and pet fee (if applicable). Rescheduling is allowed at no cost during this time-period. There will be a onetime $30 cancellation fee that will be assessed. This covers our costs to the credit card company.

If a guest cancels within 14 days or less notice before their reservation is set to begin – they will be refunded only the cleaning fee and pet fee (if applicable). This includes reservations that were made within 14 days of their check in date. Rescheduling is not allowed during this time period. If guests are unable to attend, they may gift their existing reservation to a responsible friend or family member at no charge.

For winter months on Mt. Lemmon (October – April): Weather can change very quickly. Please check the weather in advance and prepare for cold and snow. If you are planning on driving up during this time, you must have 4-wheel drive or snow chains to be adequately prepared.  During winter months – if Catalina Highway is open for residents and you are not granted access up the mountain because you do not have 4-wheel drive or snow chains, you are not eligible for a refund of the nightly rate. This is considered the same as canceling with 14 days or less notice. We will do everything we can to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs to minimize travelling in the snow. Please plan accordingly for winter travel.

Have a Look at the FAQ

Do I need to pay for my Reservation in Full or pay a Deposit?

In order to reserve a cabin, you would pay for the Accommodation, Taxes and Cleaning Fee in full at the time of reservation. We do not “Hold” cabin reservations in our system without prior payment arrangement.

Is there a Security Deposit?

No. In the event of damage or missing items in the cabin, damage to furniture, extensive cleaning needed or violation to our Hotel Policies, the Credit Card on File will be charged once we receive notice from our staff or cleaning company.

What are the Taxes and Fees?

The 12% Tax is a combination of local, state and federal taxes. This is our cost of doing business as Mt. Lemmon is unique and different from metro areas like Tucson.

Why am I Paying the Cleaning Fee?

Most hotels build in the cleaning fee into their daily rate. At Mt Lemmon Hotel, we want to keep the room rate as reasonable as possible. This cleaning fee is a one-time fee for each reservation. For example, the fee is the same whether you stay one night or several nights. We encourage you to stay as long as you can!

The cleaning fee is the same cost we pay for the cleaning service. The company uses Hospital-Grade cleaning supplies and launders linens and towels in a professional laundering center. They also replenish supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, tissues, take out trash (most local cabins require tenants to bring it off of the mountain) etc after every visit.

Our Professional Cleaning Crew is the same company that cleans medical offices and clinical settings. They are trained to disinfect all touch points in addition to normal cleaning practices. In the future post pandemic, we would reevaluate our cleaning fee accordingly.

Thank you for your understanding. We want you and your families to remain safe and healthy as you enjoy your stay with us.

Why Can’t I Book a Friday or Saturday Night?

Weekends are highly sought-after days for booking. We made a two-day minimum for Fridays and Saturdays to offer a package deal for our customers as well as give the Cleaning crew a day off.

What is the time for Check-in/Check-out?

Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 10am. If we can provide an early check-in or late check-out we will upon request.

Do your Cabins have Fireplaces?

With the high fire risk and previously devastating fires up on Mt Lemmon, we are avoiding any further risk of fire with a wood-burning fireplace.  Instead, each cabin is equipped with an electric fireplace for warmth and ambiance.

Are there Barbecue Grills we can use?

Yes! We have provided 7 Barbecue Grills to be shared between the cabins.  The grills are charcoal and this is not provided. You can purchase charcoal locally from the General Store.

What should I bring from home?

  • Camping chairs
  • Cooking seasonings
  • Cooking utensils (we have a full kitchen but basic selection of utensils)
  • Extra coffee/creamer
  • Eye mask for sleeping
  • Kleenex
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Help make our cabin feel like your home away from home. If you love your pillow, have a favorite blanket, favorite book, please bring them so you can relax and enjoy your time away from the city.
