Cancellation/Hotel Refund Policy
If a guest cancels and provides 15 days or more notice before their reservation is set to begin (not including check in day) – we provide a full refund minus a one-time $45 cancellation fee. Rescheduling is allowed at absolutely no cost during this time period and encouraged with no date restrictions. For guests that book 4 nights or more and cancel there will be a one-time $45 cancellation fee, plus 3% of the total reservation. This covers our cost to the credit card company.
If a guest cancels within 14 days or less notice before their reservation is set to begin there are no refunds. This includes reservations that were made within 14 days of their check in date. Rescheduling is not allowed during this time period. If guests are unable to attend, they may gift their existing reservation to a responsible friend or family member at no charge.
For winter months on Mt. Lemmon (November– March): If you are booking between November-March there is a chance of snow on the road and on the mountain. Ensure to check Mt Lemmon Weather before arriving. You should be prepared with snow chains on your wheels or 4wd in the event there are requirements to have those safety features when driving up. Snow chains can be purchased locally at auto stores or on Amazon. In the event the road is closed to all traffic due to the weather, Mt. Lemmon Hotel will work with you to reschedule your reservation at no cost to you. Failure to prepare your vehicle properly with 4wd or chains that prevent access to Mt. Lemmon will not be eligible for refunds or reschedules. If we see that snow is coming in – we always try to offer early check-ins to avoid winter travel when possible. Gift Cards – All sales for gift cards are final. Gift cards do not have an expiration date and can be transferred to another person at no cost.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to get a refund?
We send refunds immediately upon cancellation and they usually show up within 3-5 days, but sometimes it takes as long as 15 days before they reflect on the original payment method.
How come you charge a cancellation fee? The credit card companies charge us a transaction fee and percent of sale fee for every charge. This does not get recouped when somebody cancels or gets a refund.
