Who said you can't get fall leaves in Arizona? Just 45 minutes from Tanque Verde and Catalina Highway in Tucson - you can experience what most of the Midwest and east coast does - fall!
We are currently in the peak of fall leaf colors on Mt. Lemmon. We've experienced a few nights with lows into the 30s and have had a few snowflakes at the highest peaks already.
This was one of the wettest Octobers we can remember on the mountain so we're all crossing our fingers that this is a sign of a snowy winter.
The Mt Lemmon Coffee Bean is excited to be serving coffee drinks, hot chocolate & more! Summerhaven finally has an early morning option for all the above. They also offer fresh baked good and other pastries. They are open Wednesday - Sunday 7-4pm.
Ugo's Interiors is fully operational as well. They have quite a few fall things to cozy up your house for the holidays and will have a ton of Christmas things starting next month. Lemmon 8 Cycling is up and has all the right stuff to help any cyclist in a jam at 8,000 plus feet.
The pictures below are from Bear Wallow and the Mt. Bigelow Trail. We'll keep you posted as winter approaches, but cheers to a snowy winter.
